Please note Ball Hockey was moved from Wed to Monday after the printed schedule went into folders. Monday is the accurate time for spring.
First, some policy reminders: PTSA Before and After School Classes are required to have a PTSA member/approved LWSD volunteer at every class. If there is no chaperone, we must cancel classes. This is a requirement as added protection to keep all our kids safe.
This term we have had a lot of challenges finding chaperones for Before and After School classes. Therefore, based on feedback from our community and talking with other schools, we will be changing our registration for Spring Quarter. Before registering, every family will need to sign up to volunteer for one hour of volunteer time per class, either for a chaperone slot, or, if those slots are filled, for one of our other activities such as Art Walk, Fun Run, Field Day, etc.
If someone is willing to chaperone an entire term they will receive a refund for the cost of the class minus the fees. You can also share this with another person and receive 50% of tuition back.
Chaperoning is an excellent way to observe your child in action and get to know some of the other children at the school.
To chaperone for the full Spring 2026 session of an enrichment program, contact Nova and Brendan: enrichment@clarabartonptsa.org and sign up on the volunteer forms that will be linked below on each class.
Student expectations: Students are expected to adhere to the building rules and expectations outlined in the Clara Barton Elementary Parent & Student Handbook and in accordance with LWSD policies. Students who do not follow these expectations may be dropped from enrichment class(es) without refund at the discretion of the instructors and PTSA.
*Please note that all classes incur the PTSA fee of $15 per term that goes to the PTSA fund.
*Need-based scholarships are available. One scholarship per child per year is allowed. Contact School Counselor, Megan Martinson (mmartinson@lwsd.org), to help us hold your spot.
