We are searching for our next Book Fair Chair - could that be  you?

Do you enjoy reading and discovering new books? Do you enjoy talking to and having fun with the kids at your child’s school? Do you want to continue to help your child’s library grow? If so, then running the Book Fair is for you!

In working with Ms. Whinnen (CBE Librarian) you will be in charge of getting the Book Fair ready. This includes:

·       Placing the order with Scholastics/notifying of pick up

·       Sending out a volunteer list

·       Setting up/ tear down the Book Fair if need be

·       Checking in during the Book Fair

·       Placing a money order

All of which is already laid out for you both in spreadsheets, prewritten emails along with diagrams. We made sure to make this easy for you!

If you have ever attended the Book Fair, you know the joy and excitement the children have running into the library searching for “that” new book. They love talking to you about what book their teacher wants or they may come to you for help searching for a new journal and pen. And it is rewarding seeing the pride on their faces when they’ve scraped together all their pennies for that smelly eraser. These interactions are important not just for you and the children, but the sales support funding to our very own library! By running the Book Fair, you help make all this possible.
